We have been given gifts from the Holy Spirit according to the grace of God.
6 "Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,..." (Romans 12:6)
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. (Ephesians 4:7)
3 Truths about The Gifts Of The Holy Spirit.
#1 God gives the gifts as He wills
11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. ( 1 Corinthians 12:11)
#2 Chase Jesus, don't chase after gifts.
17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)
#3 Your gifts make room for you.
16 A man’s gift makes room for him,
And brings him before great men. (Proverbs 18:16)
